The Arc House

The Arc House required us to operate within one of the most restrictive planning frameworks in Europe. The listed Victorian facade was preserved and celebrated. Behind it, a contemporary insertion of blackened steel, oak, and glass creates a spatial dialogue between past and present. The curved rear extension — the titular arc — frames a private garden.
