Black Oak Estate sits on a 4-acre cliff site in Malibu, 180 feet above the Pacific Ocean. The compound is composed of three distinct pavilions connected by glass bridges — sleeping, living, and creating. Blackened cedar siding weathers to a natural silver over time, allowing the building to gradually disappear into its coastal landscape.
