Soleil Pavilion

Commissioned by the Nice Cultural Foundation, Soleil Pavilion is a meditation on Mediterranean light. The perforated aluminum roof structure, designed using parametric modeling, creates a different shadow pattern every hour. The building is simultaneously sculpture and shelter, instrument and space.
